Services

we're good at what we do

Service is our most important product.

early out program

Our early out letter, sometimes, called Pre-collect, program is a cost-effective, flat-fee, efficient tool for recovering past due accounts. We mail a series of up to four personalized and hand signed letters tailored to meet your requirements, not computer duns, in customized preset intervals. Directing your customers to remit payment to your company keeps you in full control of the account.

Most effective when used 60 - 120 days from the most recent account activity, third party intervention creates urgency, making your invoice a priority. Customers frequently pay in full before all four letters are sent and we update our records within 24 hours of your notification an account is resolved.

Should an account remain unpaid upon completion of this program, you have the option to automatically roll the account over into our full-service collections.

account manager coaching

Everyone at Commercial Auditors Corporation wants to help you have the best outcome for your business.  Sometimes that means making suggestions to increase your in-house collections recovery, alerting you to new regulations that affect your accounts or just responding to unique circumstances with your customers or industry. Our philosophy is that helping you ultimately makes for a stronger relationship with us.  Please let us know what questions and concerns you have.  We're here to help.

full-service collections

Our professionalism and diligence infuse every aspect of our full-service collections program. Each account is reviewed prior to first contact, giving our negotiators the best possible position for the first conversation with your customer to resolve the balance. The first call is made within 24 hours, often times the same day an account is placed. A written notification goes out immediately afterward as required by law.

Maintaining urgency is critical to the collections process. Timely and consistent verbal and written communication is used in multiple formats including calls, letters, emails, and faxes to ensure the best chance of recovering your balance.

When customers pull a disappearing act, our dedicated skip-tracing department works to locate them. Using our local and national resources, we track down out-of-business and hard-to-find debtors.

We keep you appraised of account status' at regular intervals via customized and detailed reports.

While we always work to recover the debt in full, should your customer make a settlement offer, we immediately bring it to your attention. We never enter into a settlement agreement without your explicit approval.

credit reporting

We offer our clients the option of having their collection files reported to the main credit bureaus.  In order to qualify for this service all required information must be furnished at the time of placement.  Because consumers so often dispute information on their credit report, clients understand and agree to a timely response to stated disputes and well as providing evidence of the debt.

Please discuss information requirements with your representative at CAC.

legal forwarding & Litigation

Should it be determined an account cannot be resolved amicably we may recommend the account be moved to our Legal Forwarder for the voluntary legal program. With your permission your customer will be contacted by our Legal Forwarder who will notify the customer of your authorization for further collection activity using our nationwide network of collection attorneys.

All information is verified and there is a final attempt to secure payment.  Utilizing this program creates additional urgency and your customer is also made aware that not only will the original balance be pursued, but all collection costs will be added where permitted by law.

Should the balance remain unresolved the file is forwarded to one of our attorneys located near your customer so as to have jurisdiction requirements met.  The attorney will review the file, contact the customer and make a recommendation as to what further steps, including but not limited to litigation may need to happen.  We will discuss your options including the pros and cons involved and proceed per your instructions.

free demand

A free demand letter may be sent on qualified accounts.  If your customer pays the balance within the first 10 days of the date of the letter, it's on us.  No fee will be charged on any monies that come in during that ten day period.

If on the 11th day the account has not been paid in full the balance will be placed in our Full Service Program for further collection efforts. Full Service contingency rates will apply once the account reaches day 11 and and it has been moved to Full Service.
